This annual conference is held in Washington, D.C and focuses on the use of Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) in a variety of social programs, broadening and improving measurement of benefits and/or costs. This year's conference opened on October 21st, attracting more than 100 economists from the world to present. Göran Bostedt and Scott Cole from CERE participated presented and received a positive feedback. In panel 13, Göran Bostedt presented his paper associated with the PlusMinus Programme which is "Global Conflicts and Benefit-Cost Analysis-The Case of Sweden's National Environmental Objectives". In the panel 16, Scott Cole presented the third paper of his thesis "Asking the Wrong Questions: Is Resource-Based Compensation for Environmental Damage Restricting Social Welfare Gains?"
