Umeå University and the municipal companies, Umeå Energi, Umeva and Bostaden are investing together over 28 million in a new research collaboration in the area of Green Economy and Green Technology. The grants will be used for strategic recruitment of researchers in the various areas. Research and Coordination responsible for green technologies and environmental economics is Professor Mats Tysklind och Professor Johan Trygg, Department of Chemistry, and Professor Runar Brännlund at the Center for Environmental and Natural Resource Economics (CERE) and the School Business and Economics.
