On the 28th of October until early-November, CERE is pleased to welcome Paul Warde from the University of East Anglia (Norwich, England) to Umeå. Warde will hold a course and a seminar during his stay. 


Professor Warde is an economic historian who works on the environmental, economic and social history of early modern and modern Europe, his specialty is in the history of energy use, sustainability and predicting changing environments. Paul will conduct a five day intensive course "Energy, economy and environment in historical perspective" from October 29th to November 2nd. He will also give a departmental seminar on October 31st. We look forward to expanding the CERE family and introduce him to CERE's work.
